For the month of October 2022, on average, 751 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County Multiple List Service (MLS). In comparison, for October 2021, only 310 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County MLS. The increase in housing inventory of 142% more homes on the market means BUYERS have more choices from which to choose. For SELLERS, even though fewer homes sold in October this year compared to the same time last year, October 2022 SELLERS still experienced a 17% increase in “Average Sale Price”, year over year.
