For the past month of May 2023, on average, 572 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County Multiple List Service (MLS). In comparison, only 346 Homes were “For Sale” (fully active and available) within our Hernando County MLS for May 2022. The 2023 housing inventory increased 65%, meaning that May 2023 BUYERS had many more choices from which to choose. The “Average Sale Price” for May 2023 indicated a 5% increase compared to May 2022.
