The 2017-2018 Hernando County Market continues a steady appreciation since 2012. Comparing 1st Quarter trends for 2017 vs 2016, the “Total Sales Volume” for each quarter was relatively flat, with even a slight decrease for 2017. “Average Days on Market” continues to decrease as listing inventory remains at an all-time low. Interesting to note that although fewer homes sold in Q1 2017, the “Average Sale/SF Living” increased by nearly 20%.
